Disgust

So, all those people in Japan died because it was God's will? But when 8 people die in our country from severe weather then it has nothing to do with religion!? I believe I just had this conversation a couple weeks ago. These things do NOT happen because of God. They happen because Mother Nature is in charge and possibly because we try to change her, and fuck things up. I am very irritated right now. I do feel for those people and their families, but I am tired of double standards.

Don't you love it? This nonsense has been the favored "blame game" ever since Katrina took down the Big Easy.

And of course bad things happen to people of OTHER religions, not the good old USA redneck right wing Christ loves us best kind. Yeah....uh huh....surrrrre.

You aren't alone in your disgust.

I think it is something far more insidious than hypocrisy. I think they are such fanatic fools that they believe that their "right" god makes it ok to behave in such fashion.

Hypocrisy would imply that they know they are mistaken; that would possibly be too much optimism on their mental faculties.

So they think. Even beaten dogs can eventually turn and bite....no rabies required.

Not for a long, long time. Because first, there will be the anarchy, chaos and suffering that Russian exemplifies.

And maybe worse here. More of us are armed and stupid.
